Meet the Providers
Kyle received his Physical Therapy Certification from Pima Medical Institute. Prior to PTA school he worked with several sports teams as a strength and conditioning coach helping several athletes reach their dream of being professional athletes. He has coached athletes to the next level in: Football, Basketball, Baseball and Softball. His passion is working with athletes of all ages and abilities. When he is not coaching, he enjoys playing baseball with his son learning new dance moves with his daughter. Kyle’s history is being a part of the United States Army /Colorado National Guard for 4.5 years and was injured to the point where he was told he would never walk without an assistive device. He was bound and determined to train and strengthen himself to be able to walk again. This is what lead him to want to pursue a career in physical therapy.
Kyle’s interest in innovative treatments for physical therapy led him to a procedure known as Blood Flow Restriction. First developed by the US military to help save the limbs of blast victims coming home from the Middle East, Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) is an amazing modality that shortens the recovery time for post-surgical patients and injuries sustained by athletes and others.
More information on BFR can be accessed here.
Kodiak (also known as Kodi in the clinic) started her career in therapy at eight weeks old and has been a staple in the clinic since 2007. She is normally found lounging in the hallways looking for anyone that will give her a bit of attention (or treat). She is known to wander the clinic looking for that patient that may need her special kind of therapy. The effect she has on those in pain is astounding, just what the doctor ordered!
In her free time, Kodi likes to play with her sister, take naps, and just about anything outside. Head out the car window, ears flapping in the wind is one of her favorite past times, as her owners take frequent road trips.
